For this assignment I was required to design and create a fully functioning tic tac toe game using unity. The first that had to be done was to create textures in Photoshop to use within the game. The next step was to apply scripts to the textures which will make the game playable.
I found this assignment quite difficult as I didn't really understand the code. I found it fairly time consuming figuring out the appropriate code to use to make the game work, therefore I didn't really have enough time left to fully finish the game. Once I began to understand the code the scripting became much easier and I feel if I had left myself enough time I could have completed everything the assignment required.
However I think this assignment has helped improve my knowledge of Java and hopefully this will help for future assignments and scripting in general.
After receiving feedback for the assignment I feel my work fully reflected the mark I gained. If I had managed my time better I could have improved my work and received a higher mark. Again I still feel that despite the quality of work being low this assignment helped me improve my scripting knowledge

Scripting 2 - Cinematic
For the cinematic assignment the first thing to do was chose a theme. The team decided that 'The Predator' would be the best theme for us to use. The level was then made to fit the theme that had been chosen. The storyboards were then created to match the theme. I was then given the task of putting the cinematic together.
Time management was key for this assignment to be finished properly. I feel the team handled this very well as the cinematic was completely finished and ready to be presented properly. I feel that being given the task of creating the cinematic greatly improved my skills, knowledge and confidence using the Unreal Editor. Hopefully this will be useful for future assignments.
After receiving feedback for the assignment I think I could have adjusted the character slightly to make the cinematic more intense and realistic. For example the character had no breathing movements included when he was stood still. The running movement was also a little off and it looked as if the characters feet were sliding along the floor.
Overall I think that this assignment went well. The team worked well together and there are only a few things that could have been tweaked to make it even better.
